Day 4

Today was spent in Yellowstone National Park. We'll also be going through there tomorrow. Today we saw a mud volcano, the Yellowstone River and had a picnic.

Day 3

I was pretty bad about taking pics with my cell today.

We got on the road towards Cody, WY and stopped at Devils Tower. Pretty cool stuff bit no pic. We then stopped for some lunch and Carissa had a good time in the playground they had at the rest stop.


We drove through the Big Horn Mountains and they were amazing. We even got to see a moose with twin calves and stop for a snowball fight.


Tomorrow we head into Yellowstone.

Day 2

It took a while for me to get Day 1 uploaded. Sorry.

Today, Sunday, we got up and went to Mount Rushmore. It's pretty amzing how they were able to build that back then.


After that we drove on down to the Crazy Horse Memorial. We were cheap though and didn't go in. Here's a shot from the road. It's kind of small in the pic.


We then drive back through Custer National Park. It was beautiful. No cell phone pics though. I'll have to post those when we get home.

Day 1

Last night we traveled pretty late to get all the way to Sioux Falls, SD. We slept in a bit and got on the road towards Rapid City, SD. On the way we made a stop in Mitchell at the Corn Palace. A pic of one of the thousand souvenirs available.


Then we got on down the road to the Badlands National Park. It was amazing.



Our last stop on the way was Wall Drug. Christina's dad had some fun before dinner.

Road Trip

That's right. We're heading out on the open road. We're going with Christina's parents and her brother's family. We've got our bags and snacks packed in the car. Here's a good look at what our jam packed trip is going to look like with most of stops marked.

We Love Subway

Carissa loves going to eat at Subway and has started to be more independent when eating. We no longer are allowed to tear her bites off. She wants to hold sandwich just like us.

So I'm A Dad // Always Watch

She accomplished this is less than 10 seconds.

More Photos from St. Louis

We took plenty of photos on our trip to St. Louis this past weekend. You can see a couple below but there are more on Picasa.

Carissa was fascinated with looking out the window. We were on the 21st floor, so she had quite the view.

This next shot would summarize how Carissa looked the entire time at the zoo. Whenever she saw an animal, she would lean as far forward as she could and stare/grunt/point. It was her way of getting said animal's attention.

Surprise!

We came home tonight to find that there was a new colt. Papa had him in the barn so Carissa got to meet him. The mom doesn't have milk yet so he has a feeding tube for now.

Hello Albert

Cardinals game is under way.

Some God and Some Grub

We met up with some of the other staff from Vineyard to visit The Journey, a church up here in St. Louis. It was good to get out and see how someone else does church. I covertly took a photo during the sermon.


Afterward, we all went for some dinner at Del Pietro's. Christina and I have been there several times before and have always enjoyed it.

St. Louis Zoo

Carissa loves seeing all the animals. She has enjoyed the giraffes the most. Here are her and me in the petting zoo with the goats.

Weekend in St. Louis

We're all checked in at the Hilton for the weekend. The view is awesome.


Carissa is keeping herself entertained by emptying out Christina's wallet.
