We got all dressed up for church today.

A Big Day

We had a big day today. We started putting up Christmas stuff. Carissa was very excited to help.

Carissa seemed to like the hat. See the little white ball on the hat of the toy she is holding? It didn't last long. She ripped that off pretty quick.

Then, after a long day of helping Christina and I, she had her bath. She finished the night by watching a little Law & Order with us. She didn't make it though. Grandpa Ayres and PaPa Welch do the same thing, only in their recliners.

Not So Lazy Sunday Afternoons

We all enjoyed our Sunday afternoon. We got home from church and grocery shopping and just played around for a while. We started cleaning on the house later and Carissa loves to be in the carrier with one of us while we clean. Like this photo (but that's not from today and Christina isn't technically cleaning):

Anyways, she cleaned a bathroom with Christina and then she picked up and vacuumed the family room with me. After that I was pretty tired of carrying her around (I know, Christina carried her for 9 months; but she wasn't 15 lbs either). So I took her out and layed her on the jungle play mat. I walked out of the room and two minutes later, Christina finds her like this (well, with out the blanket; we added that).

Apparently, cleaning is tiresome for a baby too.

Dinner with Mom and Dad

We went out to dinner tonight at the Black Forest Restaurant near Licking. Carissa really enjoyed herself. She had a crowd listening to her "talk" by the end of the night.

We found a hat in Carissa's closet today we had forgotten about...so we put it on her.

Today

Carissa had a long day today. It started with her watching mommy do her hair in her Bumbo chair reading a book from Grandma. It's her favorite right now.

Then, after a "long" day at the office with daddy, she passed out waiting for me to pack up my bag. It was a good day.

Hermann, MO

We went to a wedding last weekend near Hermann. The area is beautiful this time of year. I only wish I had more time up there to take photos. We went down town for a bit after the wedding and I did get a few.

Carissa was a horse. She enjoyed wearing the costume for about 1.5 hours. I figure that is as good as I can ask for.
